Confined / Indoor Spaces

Traditionally, inspections in confined and hard-to-reach spaces call for humans’ entry into hostile environments with little or no light, toxic atmosphere with little oxygen or even reaching spaces at height. Inspectors performing internal inspections face confined space entry considerations, work at height on scaffolding, rope access, all of which entail potential hazards for human life, time-consuming and costly procedures. By sending DIAPLOUS’ sophisticated US into an asset, our pilots can collect visual data remotely while standing safely outside or far from dangerous stages, thus improving the overall safety of inspections. In addition, they can collect data from parts of the assets that are inaccessible with the traditional means, thereby providing a thorough situation awareness. At the end of the day, a sound, cost-efficient, less time-consuming, and well-reported inspection is delivered in order to empower asset owners in decision making, and most importantly with no risk to human life.
