HELLENIC PETROLEUM
Diaplous’ experienced auditors carried out Oil & Gas Security Survey at Hellenic Petroleum facilities. A Risk Management Committee was appointed with the purpose to conduct threat identification and vulnerability assessment for Hellenic Petroleum’s facilities located in Greece (Athens, Elefsina, Aspropyrgos & Thessaloniki) and abroad (Skopje). Hellenic Petroleum main activity is the petroleum refining and distribution of oil products.
Working together with Hellenic Petroleum’s Senior Management Team, the Committee examined the security vulnerabilities of the refinery at the stages of production, supply and distribution of the product. Based on the findings and analysis, Diaplous delivered a thorough and methodical security assessment together with a recommended risk mitigation plan.
PRELUDE FLNG
PRELUDE FLNG (floating liquified natural gas) facility is the largest FLNG vessel and the biggest offshore facility the world has ever seen. At 488m long and 74m wide, the facility produces natural gas from an offshore field approximately 475km northeast of Broome in Western Australia.

EGINA
EGINA FPSO, the largest ever FPSO (floating production, storage and offloading) built by facilitates an enormous oil project in ultra-deep water off the coast of Nigeria. The project is based on a subsea production system connected to the FPSO and is one of the deepest offshore projects ever operated by TotalEnergies. To support the project, Diaplous was selected to protect the transit of EGINA FPSO by mustering its extensive operational expertise in the Gulf of Guinea.
Diaplous deployed 3 escort vessels of high technical specifications and performance standards to protect the EGINA FPSO tow flotilla. The unit was safely escorted during the inbound transit from the rendezvous position (200 NM off the coast of Nigeria) until the handover position of EGINA FPSO at offshore Lagos port and afterwards for the outbound escort of the POSH TERASEA tugs until 200 NM distance from the Nigeria coast.
ENERGEAN POWER / KARISH
ENERGEAN POWER FPSO (floating production, storage and offloading) is the first ever FPSO to operate within the Eastern Mediterranean, which was towed from Singapore to her final position located within the Israeli EEZ. Diaplous was appointed for embarking an armed security team to protect the platform during the towing operation between the Arabian Sea to her final position at Haifa Port.
Having a successful track-record of handling major special projects, Diaplous secured the delivery of ENERGEAN POWER and smoothly facilitated yet another major operation.
